Xbox and PC RPG 'Vampyr' gets savage gameplay trailer

Today, Dontnod Entertainment released a new story trailer for the upcoming dark role-playing game (RPG) Vampyr. The video explores protagonist Dr. Jonathan Reid's growth in power through savage combat. By sacrificing the very citizens Reid swore to protect, players will acquire and evolve powerful vampire abilities in their struggle to defeat London'south deadly foes.

In a completely disorganized and ghostly city, those who are unlucky enough to walk the streets at night become prey to vampires. You step into the shoes of a man who has recently turned into a vampire. The game is as much about staying alive by hunting as it is about understanding your new affliction. It's definitely a new accept on the genre. Killing certain citizens will accept a greater impact on a locale than others, while simply killing as well many may cause an entire commune to plummet.

Afterwards draining the blood of his victims, Reid tin larn powerful abilities. Shut combat abilities allow Reid to shut gaps quickly, pouncing from afar before slashing creatures with his claws.
